Ingredients
- 450g beef ribee or sirlion thinly slice
- 1/4cup soy sauce
- 2tablespoon sugar
- 1tablespoon sesame oil
- 3cloves garlic minced
- 1/2small onion grated
- 1/2 pear or apple grated (optional for tenderizaing)
- 2 green onion finely chopped
- 1tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 1/4teaspoon black pepper
- 1tablespoon vegetable (for cooking)
Instructions
- Prepare the Beef
- If the beef is not pre-sliced, place it in the frezzer for about 20 minutes to firm up, making it easier to slice thinly.
- Make the Marinade
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, grated onion, grated pear (if using), green onions, sesame seeds, and black pepper. Mix well to dissolve the sugar.
- Marinate the Beef
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring each oiece is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably a few hours or overnight for deeper flavor.
- Cook the Beef
- Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil.
- Once the oil is hot, add the marinated beef in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook until the beef is brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
