Bud Bongao Peak– is a popular hiking destinaton in Tawi-Tawi that is highlighted by the region’s rich biodiversity. it has 1030feet above sea level. It takes about 2 hours to reach the peak. Its jump off is in Simunol. Enjoy the magnificent view of Bongao town and neighboring islands, catch the sunrise or wait for the a spectacular sunset from the top. Sheik Makhdum Mosque– This is the oldest mosque in the Philippines. It was built by an Arab merchant named Shiekh Makhdum Karim in 1380 from whom the mosque was named after. It is located in Tubigindangan, Simunul.
