Quiapo Church
It is located at 910 Plaza Miranda, Quiapo Manila. Many people go to church here every last Friday of the month and every Sunday. It is also known for its “Minor Basilica and National ShrineOf Juses Nazarene (Black Nazarene)”. It is a Black Statue of Jesus Christ that is said to be miraculous.
The Translacion commemorates the transfer of the image of the Black Nazarene from the Recollect in Intramuros to its current shrine, The move was mafe over 400 years ago and the Church commemorates it every year on january 9th. It is also considered to be one of the biggest Fiestas of Filipinos that is known around the world.
Many Devotees come every Feast of the Black Nazarene to worship and commomorate the Feast of the Nazarene.
After you go to church, you can go for a walk because you can buy a lot and you also have many choices here.
Carriedo Plaza– You can reach it after you exit Quiapo Church. You will see many vendors here. There are also many food stalls and fast food that you can eat here.
Here you can also see the very first built SM here in the Philippines . The SM Quiapo. You can also buy vegetables, fish and fruits here.
SM Quiapo– was opened on November 4,1972. This is the very first SM here in the Philippines that is still open.
There are many optical stalls here so you really have a choice for your eyes. Just be careful with your belongings especially when there are many people.
Handicrafts
These are handmade by Filipinos. There are many souvenirs to choose from here. It is located under the Quiapo Bridge.

Chinatown– The name given to this area where there are many Chinese shops and restaurants, and a social center for the Chinese Community in the City. This is also where Filipino’s buy old because they have many gold stores here which they call “Ongpin”.

Intramuros Manila– is home to landmarks of the Spanish era such as Fort Santiago, You can also tour the area by renting a horse.

Rizal Park– is also known as Luneta Park, It is one of the tourist spots in Manila. Here you can see the statue of our National Hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal. There are also many statues of hereos here.
