Discover the beauty of Mt.Natib And Pasukulan falls in Bataan
The climb to Mt.Natib starts from Brgy.Tala Orani Bataan which in 30 minutes away from the crossing of Orani. After taht, Register at the Tala outpost and they will orient you. At first, the trail you are walking on is wide, smooth and beautiful. The environment consists of open grassland and lightwoodlands.
One of the famous tourist spot in Orani Bataan, Refreshed by breeze, the area is very peaceful and had a lush variety of trees and plants. You can also pass it when you go to Mt.Natib.
Here you can rest. and only water source along the trail. There is a spacious area and can accommodate up to 12 tents.
It is the highlight of the trek because of the steep, wooded, rocky trail before reaching the summit. When it rains, this path is a bit slippery that’s why there is a rope ready here. Just be careful on the road because when you get close to the summit, the road will be narrow and there will be a lot limatik (blood leeches) especially when it rains. It is also worth your effort once you reach the summit because of the beautiful view you will see. There was a time when it was surrounded by fog. The summit has a wide grassland that provides a 360-degree view of the surrounding.
After 2 hours from the summit you will reach here. It has a height of 197ft. This is the highest waterfalls in Bataan. The trail here is downhill and uphill so it’s quite difficult. You also have three rivers to cross before reaching Pasukulan falls. There is also a trail here that you can walk next to the cliff so just careful to hold the rope tightly. You will be truly amazed by the natural green environment, cool water and relaxing sound of waterfalls.
Blood leeches
This is what they call a leech. When it bites you, the blood that can be absorbed is about to 1-3cc. You will not fell that there are leeches bitting you because it does not hurt to bite, so be careful when trekking and always check your body. 🙂
