The 4×4 trip is about 1 hour and 54 minutes., and the hiking is 2 hours it also depend on how you walk and rest. On the way there, you wil be amazed at the surroundings, it is so beautiful to see. Fisrt stop is Toblerone Hills it is called toblerone hills because it looks like toblerone. Second Destination is the jump off point to go for a hike. Be careful when walking because there are many small and big ones stone that you pass through, you will also see many rock formations. The Aeta Community will also pass through here. It is worth your effort here because when you reach the view deck. What a beautiful sight you will see. It is also better if you only use sandals because there are many rivers or water taht you will cross. There is also a seller of food here, the price is double but that is okay because of course it is hard to bring them here, so their price is so reasonable.

Tip travel in Mt.Pinatubo
  • Wear light clothing. It is best to bring extra sets of clothes.
  • Protect yourslef from the sun, Use sunscreen lotion.
  • Wear light, breathable and quick dry hiking shoes or sandals because you will be travelling on different terrains.
  • Carry plenty of water for longer cold drinks along the trail.
  • Also bring trail food like a light snack.
  • Be protected from the occasional rain by carrying an umbrella.
  • Arrive early to avoid the sun.
  • 4×4 jeep rental can be expensive, so maximize the trip with 5 people and split the cost among yourselves.
  • Check the weather when planning your hiking tour.
  • Bring your trash and help keep Mt.Pinatubo clean.

Manila to Capas, Tarlac Via Bus

  • Take a bus bound for Capas, Tarlac. the bus terminal is in Cubao or Pasay. It depends on which one is closest to where you are staying. You also have the option to board buses with a Baguio, Ilocos or Pangasinan route and tell the conductor that you will get off at Sta.Juliana in Capas.
  • Sta.tourist in Juliana. There you will have to pay the necessary environmental fees, and then they will help you book your 4×4 tours.

  • 06:00AM- Board 4×4 ride and start ride to Mt.Pinatubo jump off point.
  • 08:00AM- End of 4×4 ride, Start hike.
  • 10:00AM- Estimated time of Arrival (ETA) Mt.Pinatubo Crater, Rest and explore the area. Early lunch.
  • 11:00AM- Start Descent.
  • 01:30PM- Arrival at 4×4 stop. Board to 4×4 to jump off.
  • 03:00PM- Estimated time of Arrival (ETA) Pinatubo DENR. Wash up.
  • 04:00PM- Depart to Manila.
  • 07:30PM- ETA Manila.
