Beaches in Parang Sulu

Parang, Sulu has a long stretch of white powdery sand, constantly lapped by shallow turquoise waters and surrounded by coconut trees. Little by little the beautiful beaches of Parang are being rediscovered by people as they welcome tourists from all over the island. A trip to Parang provides a refreshing view. Coconut tress cover wast plains and hills as they sway in the coastal breeze.
Tandu Beach– It is located in the beautiful town of Parang, Sulu. Which offers a serene bay on the coast of the Philippines. The beach provides a peaceful haven for a relaxation and a variety of beach activity. The sands feature a soft golden color that blends beautifully with the clear turquoise waters of the ocean. It has many amenities that ensure a comfortable and enjoyable visit. It is also a public beach with cottages that can be rented. There are coconut trees and landscape as it contrasts with the creamy white sand shores of Parang. It is 25.8km away from Jolo, Sulu Municipality.




Mang Sali beach– has very fine sand on its shore that is a creamy shade of white. The white sand of this beach streches for more than a few kilometers further dividing it from other beach resorts. Relaxing atmosphere not far from Mang Sali beach is Sionogan Beach with native stilt huts serving as guest cottages. It has a stunning tropical paradise that offer guests a unique blend of relaxation.
Mang Sali beach offers a variety of activities for guest including swimming in the clear water, exploring the suroounding island, sunbathing and doing their own inflatable activity.

Biraddali Beach Resort– is known for its long concrete bridge that serves as a dock for small boats. You can also relax in the hut at the end of it. There is an entrance fee here if you don’t avail their cottages.

Those are the beaches you can go to in Parang, Sulu. It is possible to visit all (3) three beaches at the same time because they are close to each other. I would recommend that you bring your own food because there is no restaurant where you can buy it but don’t worry because you have something to cook here.

Do it Yourself (DIY) travel is not advisable to do in Sulu. it is recommended to contact the Sulu Provicial Tourism Office. They will also arrange your itinerary with the tour guide, accommodation, and police escort. Your tour package will aslo include land and boat tranportation, entrance fee and guide fee.
